Welcome to Humbot ("we", "our", or "us"). We operate the website and application available at humbot.one (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. Please read this policy carefully. 2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and (if you choose "Sign in with Google") your Google profile data such as your display name and profile picture.
- User-Generated Content: Text you submit for AI humanization, chat messages, plagiarism checks, resume data, and any other content you create or upload within the Service.
- Uploaded media: an image you attach in AI Chat is sent, with your message, to the AI processing providers described below so they can answer you. We do not keep a copy on our servers. A profile photo or resume photo you choose stays in your own browser; it is not uploaded to our servers. Before you add an image, we ask you to confirm that you have the rights and consent described in our Terms, and we keep a record of that confirmation (your account number, the time and the wording version), not the image.
- Reports: if you use the Report button on an AI reply, a chat or a generated image, we store the reported content, your note and your account details so our team can review it.
- Usage Data: Log data including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent, and other diagnostic data collected automatically.
- Payment & Subscription Data: Subscription status and purchase history. Payments on the website are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, and purchases in the Android app by Google Play. Card details are entered directly with them — we never see or store your full card number. Paddle receives the details needed to take payment, such as your email address, billing country and payment method, and handles them under its own privacy policy.
- Voice Input: Voice AI uses your browser's built-in speech recognition (the Web Speech API) to turn what you say into text. Audio may be processed by your browser vendor's speech service under its own privacy policy. Humbot does not record, store, clone or reproduce your voice.
- Device Data: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers when you access the Service from a mobile application.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service and its AI-powered features.
- To authenticate your identity when you sign in with Google or with your email and password.
- To process and fulfill your subscription through Paddle (website) or Google Play (Android app).
- To send transactional and support emails (e.g., password resets, receipts).
- To improve, personalise, and expand our Service.
- To monitor usage patterns and diagnose technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Third-Party Services
We work with a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, only so we can run the Service. Each is bound by its own privacy and security obligations. By category:
- AI processing providers: the text, prompts and files you submit to AI features (chat, humanizer, image generation and similar tools) are sent to them only to produce your result.
- Sign-in: if you choose "Sign in with Google", Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us under Google's own privacy policy.
- Payment processing: website payments are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record and a PCI-DSS compliant payment provider; purchases in the Android app are handled by Google Play.
- Email delivery: a provider that sends account and transactional emails, such as sign-in codes, password resets and receipts.
- Hosting and infrastructure: cloud servers located in the European Union that store and run the Service.
- Analytics: a web analytics service that helps us understand how the website is used (see Cookies and Tracking below).

5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us atnikhil@humbaa.com. Certain data may be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, or backup purposes for a limited period after account deletion.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain session state, remember preferences, and analyse usage. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features of the Service may not function properly without cookies.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed password storage, and access controls to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
